shimano warranty question

hi guys
just want to know can you take shimano reel or rod
for wty without the original reciept?
example shimano stradic FJ 10year wty
knowing its less then 10year old and 100% manufacture fault.

If it's from a local I'd say there's a 95% chance they'll deal with it for you.

I recently took a thunnus back to my local where I bought it and they sorted it under warranty with no receipts

It being a fj stradic I think you will be right considered they have only been on the market for a few years

I took mine Fireblood collection to shimano in Taren Point for service...took 3 weeks but they change everything...pinion, bearings...all the internal free of charge...and I dont have any reciepts...absolute champ. I thought it gonna cost me heaps...not nothing. FREE...we all love freebies.
