Disassembling Magsealed reels

Question regarding taking apart a magsealed reel for general maintenance WITHOUT disturbing the magseal. How far can you disassemble? At what point is the magseal going to be disrupted, so I can avoid that? Any pics would be great too. Cleaned the inside of my spool and I feel like going further.

Lots of views, no answers!
For example...

Can I remove the side plate and access the gears without disturbing the magseal? How about the rotor?

I'm keen to look at it all, more than anything.

Not sure if it's the same for Daiwa reels, but I saw a shimano disassemble video online, and they had to loosen the rotor nut first. Then the sideplate could be unscrewed and opened.

Have a read here:
http://www.breammaster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61253&highlight=magseal&page=2
for a start, about halfway down the page is how to remove the rotor without disturbing the magseal, then you can unscrew the bearing plate and remove the AR sleeve and bearing/magnet plate as a unit with the oil intact. After that it is a conventional disassemble and a very careful replacement of the plate/AR sleeve.
Which model reel is it?

Thanks guys, will have a look through these videos, he has heaps.

Nagz, I was reading your thread about reel maintenance and got interested. I might get myself a simpler reel to take apart and fiddle with - Shimano or older Daiwa (no magseal).

I've been contemplating a Ci4+ anyway, so I could try my hand at servicing it myself I suppose. Flick me a PM if you have a 2500 for sale

Not a bad idea mate

I went through a few low end reels before getting into the steez, exist, Stella and saltiga type reels

Its good to get a feel for things like laying out parts, screw tensions, gear alignment etc before touching high w pensive reels
