New Daiwa Exist

So I plan on doing a mas update of my spinning reels and the plan is to implement a two tiered system.

Tier 1 will be Exists and Morethans

Tier 2 will be the 2013 model Certates.

The burning question I have is whether Daiwa have plans for a new Exist anytime soon... There seems to be no rhyme no reason to Daiwa'a update regiment so it could be next week or in 5 years.

I would think with the new magsealed bearings appearing on the Morethan that Daiwa would want their "flagship" reel to have all the fruit on offer in the technical department.

Any thoughts or word on the street?

If it were to come out this year I'd think they would have released it at AFTA or similar. Going off that theory I wouldn't expect to see a new exist hitting the stores till at least this time next year

Yeah, they normally launch a reel that major at somewhere more "global" than AFTA. I seem to recall a major new model being announced only weeks after AFTA one year.

I just don't want to go through the process of updating only to have a new model out in 3 months time.

Oh I am fully aware that this is a nice place to be in. It will require a big offloading however
