what braid to get???

I have done a fair few good searchs on here and I have found some good information but still a bit more insight would be great.

I have tried a lot of braids but im now looking for something new. im currently running super pe but on my certate im getting a lot of wind knots, now I know this is not always the lines problem and in this case im certain its my misuse of it. so im looking to get a new spool, also some hints on spooling and the use of shims on the reel to achieve an even line lay.

I would like to buy my line from fishin.com if that is a possible option such as toray, sunline, varivas, untika, im very much open to suggestions

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mitch.

I was having the same problem with super PE and ended up changing to Sunline PE-EGI HG and it is amazing line. Haven't had a wind knot since and its very nice but pretty expensive. Not sure if there is to much around in the price range of super PE tho.

Unitika shore game is a bloody good braid for the price. Used it all weekend and didn't get a single wind not and no random break. Casts a mile aswell

have a look at

he tests a lot of lines so you can get an accurate representation of the "Actual" breaking strain , makeup and such of various lines
