Raider Bream Finesse vs. Rack Raider

Hi Folks,
I'm having trouble deciding between a Shimano Bream Finesse 7'6" 2-piece and a Shimano Rack Raider 6'8" 2-piece. I want an all round HB/SP rod, it has to be 2-piece for transportation purposes, and it has to be Shimano, because I can get very good deals on that brand only (before anyone asks, a family friend works for Shimano - and they are very upset about the recent theft - I'm not buying stolen goods!!!). The bream finesse is the obvious choice, but my problem is the length - 7'6" seems quite long, especially for accurate casting in confined spaces. Do you think this would be a problem? I do fish flats fairly often too, where the extra length would be an advantage I spose. On the other hand, I also fish Botany Bay, where the Rack Raider may come in handy if I encounter pelagics...Any advice would be great. The rod will be matched with a Shimano Sustain 1000.
PS For anyone who hasn't heard, the Shimano factory was robbed on Sunday May 9, apparently mostly expensive blue water gear was stolen (Tiagra) - if anyone is offered cheap Shimano gear, please contact Miranda (Sydney) police.

I bought a 7'6" bream finesse the other day for working the flats with light weights. It is a much heavier rod than I thaught it would be. I class it as a flathead rod!.

It balances out much better with a 2500 reel. For dedicated bream work, particularly at close quarters, I would opt in hindsight for the shorter rod.
