suggestion for #0.3 PE or less

Tas trout season will be opening in a few weeks from now and therefore in the market for some braid for the new season.

any suggestion for #0.3 PE or less would be most appreciated.

Duel Armored F+ range has a PE #0.1.

I have been using the same in #0.8 and #1. Not too bad.

It is a fused PE and fluorocarbon hybrid line. Let me know if you need more information on it.

other than Sunline small game, Sunline rock fish, frog braid and the gosen, have not used others.. whats your recommendation? so far, still rock fish is my fav.
but cant seem to find them anymore...

I'm gonna give straight through flouro a shot this coming trout season I hope it'll be as awesome as I think it'll be. Why go so low in PE I find PE 0.6-0.8 will do everything and more you could ask for in the streams.

hello RFF.

i find that there is a big diff in casting distance between the #0.6 and the #0.3... therefore going for the #0.3 to cover more grounds quicker..

good suggesstion to go straight for the FC... what poundage would your recommend? would the stretch bother you?

I have been using braid for many years now, so imagine the straight though will be quite different. Im planning on using some 4lb from varivas I use 4lb leaders for all my stream trout fishing. 4lb could be seen as overkill but I like being able to pull a snagged lure back or yank a lure out of a tree on a rare misscast .
The main advantages I see are.

> not having to tie leaders.
> abit of stretch to help keep a few more fish on, I use fairy stiff rods while trout fishing
> more stealth even though the stream trout aren't that spooky
> when bush bashing braid can be a real pain as it gets hung up in plans and stuff, flouro shouldn't as much.
