Rod for 2000 luvias da custom
Hey guys,
Picked up a 2000 da custom today (always wanted one) and when I brought it home and tried it on my zing 1-3kg, found it was quite top heavy. Just want to know what rod others have matched with this reel? The sol can stay on the zing... Excuse for a new wand! |

Presently I use mine on a Loomis TSR GLX. For me it balances well. I find it more comfortable than the 2011 Caldia 2500 that I used on this rod previously. Felt the Caldia was just a little too big. Good luck with your choice. Regards, HBt.

I have mine on a Smith Bayliner 6'8 CF, it does have an RCS 2004 spool so it's a smidgin lighter than yours but its a perfect match. I use the combo for small/medium topwaters, Luckcraft NW pencils etc. I love the rod to bits, if you want a placcy only rod try to find the same rod in the 6'6 version.

I have a couple on my Samurai's 201 and 203... And one on a Howler custom which is a structure rod which is a fair bit shorter... They balance well on all 3...
