Not sure if it's the same? but I have the twin power 2500HGS.
Mine only weights 215g and was about $600 when new,
I got mine second hand from Japan and rate it highly, very smooth
great drag and has some Stella DNA. You can't go wrong there
Japanese made. Out of all my reels it's my favourite by far.
I would have paid $600 new for mine it's that good.

Sounds like an average price.
I have a 2000s vanquish but not limited edition. Limited edition vanquish has gold handle, black spool and yumeya aluminium knob. They also have a higher gear ratio being an hgs. As such cost a little extra.
I paid $510 I think posted from Japan.
Great reals. Very smooth and very light.
Buy it, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Hey man,

Love the Twinpowers! Have the
5000sw and 10000sw reels. Just as good as the stella if not better. Thanks for the reply. I might just have to invest in a smaller twinpower reel for breamin.

that's a great price mate!! if you can get anymore please pm me!

these reels are no longer available (unless places have them as floor stock)

just the gold handle knob of these things cost around $100 to buy as a after market product.

I believe they are an improvement on the Stella FE through the drag and spool system, but without the Stella name and history; it doesn't get the added price tag.

Super light so I don't know what you plan to do with yours, but if you've got the money definitely grab it!

GTgeoff - where have you seen the Twinpowers for $600?? If your buying new from Japan most places sell them for $301 - $348

Mines the Twinpower Mg 2500HGS made for the Japanese market.
It's a lovely looking reel and cost me over $300 second hand from Japan.
I have other Twinpowers and there nothing like this one it's special
Forgot to mention that it's a much older model, sorry about that.

Yep silver with gold trim around the spool and up the back of the reel,
the spool thou is a blue black, with gold drilled holes through it.
Awesome reel for sure, it's a keeper.

ah yeh.. that's earlier again. (though a better build than the 09)
Its weird they based so many reels off the earlier stella model, Aspire, Soare30, twin power, etc

yours has the stella FB body with the FD type drag.
the 09 has the stella FD body with re-design drag.
the 11 still has the FD body with x-ship, biomaster drag and no MG.

gone backwards in moving forwards.

yeah I got one mate, with how hard they are to find now I would probably consider $570. $600 is a bit steep but depends how much you want it I guess, tackle does that to us fishos

They are a beautiful reel though, you will not be disappointed thats for sure.

This pic should seal the deal

Wow 5-600 dollars that’s pretty heavy
Wouldn’t you rather go for Stella FE on special for that amount of money?
.
Unless its better
Just a thought!
