reel to match a daiwa mx ajing 7"4'
Hey guys, wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions as to what reel, preferably daiwa to purchase for my new daiwa mx ajing 7"4' 1-2kg. Will be primarily targeting bream and potentially light fun on pelagics. All help appreciated,
Cheers Nick

I have a Certate 2004CH on the same rod they go well together, nice balance.

I found it match perfectly with Daiwa Luvias 2004H.

Due to the fact that the mx Ajing is such a light rod, both in line rating and physical weight, I would be looking to match it up with a lightweight reel. An Exist 1003 only weights in at 160 grams, however they aren't cheap. A Luvias 1003 weights only 15 grams more at 175 grams and is considerable cheaper. It's also worth noting that 2004 size spools fit on the 1003 size reels.
Good luck with your choice.

Aegis 2004 on mine, balances beautifully. The rod tip speed you can generate on a cast with such a sweet balance is unbelievable.

Handle is the proper screw in type as per certate/luvias.
