Calling all 2012 Luvias Owners

Gday, guys
Just looking for some info here about the stock drag washers on the 2012 luvias 2004 and 2506.
im trying to find a DIRECT replacement carbontex washer for the 2506
I have pulled out the washer on the 2506 and measured it, its white in colour, 29mm wide and 2mm thick, its much Thicker than a lot of the other washers I have seen.
Now question is has anyone replaced the 2506 luvias washer and if so did you just use one single washer or did you stack 2 to get the right thickness? Or what did you do?

Also My 2004 bought second hand didn’t come with a drag washer, so im stuck there, would like to know the size of it, along with the thickness (if it anything like the 2506 then its going to be much thicker than normal washers) looking to replace with carbontex..
(I have with myself an older caldia 2000 spool, so I took one washer off it and put it in the luvias 2004, it seems like a perfect fit, it measures 22mm, would be good if someone can confirm this measurement on ther luvias 2004 washer and more specifically the thickness too)

Now I have bought a couple of carbontex washers already from a local but they measure 25mm, too big for the 2004 (I have to push it into the spool cavity to fit it) and too small for the 2506, I would like to hear from people who have bought or made DIRECT replacements, im not taking a chance again and would like to get this right..

Many thanks

who's the dodgy seller ? does his name start with e and end in bay ? or was it off someone on here ?

check the schematics ? they may have a model number for that drag washer so you can just order from daiwa.

im guessing it may have been worn out but i didnt find even a piece of worn washer, just score marks on metal...

i have the schematics but everything is japanese, i cant read it.. im interested in replacign with carbontex though , hence my question about the thickness as well

Thats fine, i just measured with a standard scale, just a rough idea will be good enough, i have a hunch it will be the same as the caldia 2000 i have (22MM)

thanks

From what I know wont they be the same as any other 2004 daiwa reel? Since they are all interchangeable spools it would be a reasonable assumption that the drag washers were at least very close.

Thats what im thinking as well, hopefully someone can confirm. but from the looks of it i have worked out i can cut down the 25mm one i have
the 2506 on the other hand is my Now main concern, the washer is quite thick, what do you guys do in such situations, stack a few together???
