G Loomis Pro Blue PBR 884S

Hi all,

Thinking of buying a G loomis pro blue 15-30pd rod. Just want to no if anyone has owned this rod before and what do you rate it?

Going to match it up with a stella 4000fe or a twin power 5000sw.

Hope to hear your feedback! Thanks all.

I've looked at them for the same purpose and I can honestly say that there are a lot of better rods for half the money. The blanks and components on them aren't half as good as most of the cheaper daiwa rods like the air edge etc.

Thanks for that and I have to agree with you! Is there any rods you'd recommend for these two reels? Don't want to spend more than about 370 to 420. Thanks for the reply.

Well I'm in the same boat as you at the moment! I'm still looking at this stage, however I did see just this morning that the daiwa catalina's are only $299 at ray & anne's so that's probably where my money is going!
