Daiwa reels
I was at b@f today and testing out a few reels as I'm tossing about with a few that are on my radar.anyway next to the shimano reels I was testing were the daiwa reels so I had a little play with them.i was f$cking impressed quality and smoothness out of the box.the only thing holding me back from buying one is daiwa service as I had nightmares in the past dealing with them I'm going back 15 years ago tho.have they picked up the game?

I had a certate serviced, just took to local tackle shop who sent to daiwa & reel is good as new on return for about $100.
Didnt take too long or anything & all replaced parts were sent to me for inspection etc.

I've had a few reels serviced by Daiwa and never had a problem. If you have got any specific concerns with your reel you can always give them a call to discuss.

For service to most reels try D&H Reel repairs in Brissy. Last two I had serviced; Certate and Luvius cost about $46 each including return postage. Great job too.
