Daiwa caldia 190 dollars with express postage from digitaka. It's 40 dollars over ur budget but trust me its alot more worth it and it will last longer then the other reels its even got mag seal!!

Mate, as Nix said, go a stradic when the next pops up. Very reliable!
Edit- the aernos would be great as well. Had on for a year before I lost it over the side of the yak, and it was un breakable, even after 3 hardy dunks!

Stradic's for sure - unbeatable compilation of quality, technology and bang for buck!
I am a sucker for longevity and quality and the Stradic is very 'me'. I love them to death!!! |

Dude I've got the Black Hawks in at work, they are sweet reels man! I set my old man up with one and he loves it!
Aluminium body, carbontex drag, direct drive handle, all for around a 130 bucks how can you go wrong! |

Quote:
The 2500 FJ is rated at 5kg from memory - carbontex drag washer upgrade could near double that - but do you need it?? As the reels come out of the box they're a very capable offering, hence why I have 3 of them (1000, 2500 & 5000). |
