Bigeye blade vs powerblade

Gday,

Just wondering are there any key differences other than length and weight?

Tim

Everything almost. Shape, size, weight, colours, no rattle. Very different blade than the very underrated Big Eye.

I hope they don't stop making the bigeye as I find it out fishes all other blades in open water here on the goldcoast.
The Powerblades do look good though.

I've only started using the big eye blades in the last fortnight around the gold coast cos I got some from a bargain bin. Have been getting a lot of big eye trevally on them. Usually tt's are my go to blade but ill stick to using the big eyes while there producing the goods..

My first bream on a lure was caught today using a 34mm Bigeye Blade in Hopper colour. Land based too. I hope they keep going. Being so different to the Powerblade, I hope there's room for both in production.

sirwaxxalot, where do you get them at that price? DohDohDoh they're around $22 for 2, which is still pretty good anyway.....

Went to the coorong with a mind to catch a mulloway on plastics last boxing day. Ended dropping a big eye and jigging it alongon my way to the channel. Never had to go to the plastics the same blade caught 10 schoolies, nothing big but good fun. Except for the wind.... Flounder, bream, mullies and all sorts of smaller fish has fallen to the bigeye.

I have had eyes fall off mine. Have some ebay eyes on the way to glue back on. I used to fish blades heaps, i need to find the patience to use them again. Kind of got the plastics bug again in the last few weeks. The big eyes have a better shape to the new ones, being more original and the paint quality is great compared to other brands.

I had an eye fall off too. What did you search for to find the eyes?

Would any of you be able to recommend a colour? I like the look of the rattle in them and they look like good value. 34 mm version for bream on structure. Sorry to revive an old thread

Cheers
