CX35...Full of water
Went out for a flick yesterday, got about 8 bream on a brand new cx35. As i began changing the mangled trebles when i got home i noticed the body of the lure was full of water. After 8 hours of hanging the lure upside down trying to drain it, the water has now turned a rust colour.
Any idea how this may have happened as there are no obvious cracks of punctures in the lure? Also will the break the lure eventually? Can i still use it? |

Can happen when the tow points for the trebles move slightly (either pressure from fish or a snags etc...) You can still use it, might be a slow sinking lure now. Will still catch fish.

It might come out completely eventually. Can be a problem with short chubby lures like the CX. A Bream can get both trebles in the wrong spot and with the power of their mouths, rip a tow point out!

just heated up a needle and poked a smal hole near the rear towpoint. Sucked the water out, and araldited the pin hole and rear towpoint up! hopefully all is good!
