Zman Grub

Even with superglue when i rig my 2 inch grubs they still seem to eventually slide off or not sit right, so i have to fix them up every few casts. I know this is normal but are there any jigheads that help to stop this?

Cheers, Fraser

The squidgy jig heads you don't even need the glue just pull it up over the jig head and it sits back on there perfectly

Try the heavier atomic internal weighted jigheads. They hold really well.

I have never had a problem. I use the tt jig heads and squeeze the grub right up past the end of the weight and it normally sits back where it should. Then just a drop of glue and I'm set. Unless I get my pans pulled down by a fish. You really have to make shore you push it right up hard.

I use both atomics and tts and have never had a problem unless a fish has grabbed it. The atomics in 1/8 is what I use mostly and they hold them extremely well. CJ

squidgy jigheads stop this, but when you are after a heavier gauge hook i use nitro's and just pull the zman the whole way over the weight, like a HWS

TT have released a new range of jigheads called "Headlockz" they have been around for almost a year but have just released them in smaller sizes. Especially for the grubz. Have a look at your local tackle store for them. They hold the grubz perfectly!

Squidgy jigheads rip placcys ( Get your pants pulled down a couple of times and that plastic is stuffed )...Very soft hook to..

Squidgy Jigheads hold the best and they don't rip Zmans as some have said. The hooks are kinda weak though, a positive is that you can slowly pull them free from a snag if using 6lb gear. Negatives of weak wire are self explanatory, especially if your fishing around bigger bycatch. Best 38cm with 4lb leader around structure, so they work.
TT Jigheads are fine, pull them up and over as far as you can and let them spring back. However I have had some hookup problems before with this jighead before and i can't work out why. They are good strong and sharp looking hooks.
Overall Squidgies win on price and holding factor but lose on sharpness and strength. IMHO
