Shimano Rarenium or Boimaster.

Im deciding to get a reel with two spools but im not sure which one, between a Shimano rarenium 1000 or a boimaster 1000, Thoughts..?

If weight is not an issue then the Biomaster would be slightly better reel. Niether reels seem to have been super popular for shimano. I noticed the Sustain is available for $250 atm and that is the same price as a Rarenium and it is a better reel but you don't get the spare spool.

When I bought my rarenium I also tossed up the biomaster but the two felt the same to me. I love my rarenium, it's nice and light so suits some smaller or lighter weight rods better, but still holds heaps of line. I've had no issues with it and would definitely buy another. Though if you don't need the extra spool I'd go the sustain. It felt a cut above both, CJ
