Any People with undersize boats keen to start a social comp?

in light to my last post on boats under 3.7m and the lack of fishing comps for them... just lookin for a show of people who would be keen to jump on a small social comp to kick things off and see where we can take it from there in the perth area... may be able to get sponsorship if enough people are keen for prizes etc...

not to dampen your spirts there but there is a lot that goes into running a comp. social or otherwise. simply the concept of inviting people down to fish an event you are organising can make you liable if some one gets injured. if it has a number of competitors, local councils can get upset with parking and other infrastructure being over used. winter is not the most social of weather but come summer you will see a few social comps like the ones the Mandurah breamers do and Madeye feild days which you would have no problems with your boat. looks like you have kicked off the idea for a leccy only comp to restart anyway so you sure have a full calender soon enough.

Keep an eye on GumTree. Even if you get a tiller steer to start with, it will get you going.
