Heavy structure

Hi BM
I'm after a short rod ,between 5' to 6 foot, sensitive enough for light lures and accurate casting, yet enough backbone to pull 40+ out from tight low heavy structure .
Everything in my quiver is too light or too long
I'll be using probably 6 or 8 lb super PE and same in fluro,
Teamed up with a 2500 biomaster.
What are you guys using or can suggest ?

Get the shortest version of the Berkley Dropshot Gen 4. With its shorter handle, medium tip and strong all the way through, one of the best for using around structure. I reckon the 2-4kg etc. is stronger than what its rated at, but strong. Well priced as well.

From memory Millerods do a version of the bream buster called the Wharfie that comes in at 6'. If you send them an email you can find out the details.

Loomis IMX SJR6400(5'4'") or SJR720(6') will do the job nicely.

If necessary, get the 5 foot Taiyro. Its 1-3kg (or 2-4kg, I forgot) and with their Nano Technology, you could comfortably jig small sampson fish with it... yet still light enough for bream.

Yeah the Nano tech rods accross different brands seem so strong. Like u mentioned the 1-3kg rods are darn strong, even when it comes to knocking them around. This is my experience with Gladiator's Psyborg rod.............the coatings are very dense.

Hi guys
Thanks very much for all the recommendations,
I've decided to give the Loomis IMX SJR6400(5'4'") a go.
Hopefully it'll be the right choice.
