Dobyns Or Major Craft??

Hi guys I am going to buy one of these rod I am just wanting to hear from anyone that has any experience with these rods as I can't decide which one to buy, love them both to be honest but can only buy 1, it will be used for mainly plastics but I do enjoy throwing hard body's too. the two im looking at are
1, Dobyns champion extreme DX701 4-10LB
2, Major Craft Volkey VSK-70/BL 4-8LB
both 7'0"

any info would be appreciated

Justo

Can't say I've played with the major crafts but you are barking mad if you reckon they are much better than the dobyns, the champion extreme is the cream of the crop!

I've fished with numerous dobyns rods, savvy through to the champion extreme, own two myself and have a couple of other mates who all own multiple dobyns, one who rates his champion while also fishing with megabass rods, that to me speaks volumes of their quality.

The dobyns is my pick hands down, but that being said, go and have a play with both and pick what suits you best!

So I went with the Majorcraft after hard long debate with myself ended up going with this one as I couldn't pick between the two so I let my wallet do the talking and the Majorcraft was $100 cheaper, only used it once and love it, I've teamed it up with a Stella 2500
