Cleaning up
What's the best way to remove rust stains etc from lure. Have been sorting through all my lures and alot need hooks replaced and I want to clean them up 1st.

I normally take trebles off and throw them into some warm/ hot soapy water. Rust normally wipes off easily. Replace split rings and trebles as required.

I found mixing inox with water and give them a soak overnight! then just run under cold water and most stains etc come off. Stubborn ones the old chux green stiffer fibrous one gets the job done. Amazing what a little TLC can do to older lures or ones friends don't want anymore
