Grab a River2Sea Static Shed 60 in the Black colour if you want to do some night flicking, it's deadly.

What type of lure are you using, Most HB lures float until u start retreving them, then they will dive down to say 1.5m or whatever your lure is rated too.

You wont need a sinker.

its a halco laser pro 45 - the HB with black top and gold underbelly with red eyes.

and it says "1 metre" on the box

so that means it'll dive to 1 m when i retrieve? (but how do i cast it long away enough so that the lure swims for enough time because its not heavy enough to travel long distances when i cast.

and another thing where do i cast with it and how deeper water.

should i cast next pilons and wade out to chest deep water or just fish the clear water or the flats or from jettys (im paranoid about getting snagged though and im a noob im not going to lose my 9 buck lure lol)

thanks ppl
cheers crabs

If you wade to waiste deep and cast out and do a very slow retrive it should work.

hi Crabs,
You should try fishing the flats from mt henry right up to south perth yacht club. I was down the canning bridge way yesterday and caught 3 bream. Its nice and easy, not many snags. When the tide is low you can walk out a fair way and cast into the drop offs.

Cheers,

Ports

Yep, definitely can use HB's at night. Use downunder blackbeetle. Top lure, shallow and deep.
