Hello,
I have a really good mate of mine who is looking to buy his first tinnie. He only has limited money and found a Blue Fin 4.2m Scoundrel with a Mercury 30hp 2 cilinder for a very decent price. These boats haven't been around for too long and there is limited information on the internet about them. So this thread is simply asking about an past or present experience with these boat and your verdict on them. Even on the bluefin brand itself as we have never used or been in a bluefin hull before. Anything and everything will be appreciated Thanks |

I believe 2 cylinders vibrate a lot. Look for a 3 if possible.

I've had mine since 09 with a 40 mec. Great boat. Mine has had a lot of use as I fish every weekend. I take mine to close reefs off gladstone and it performs as good as can be expected wet in side on wind and doesn't like to much chop but very stable. He won't be disappointed.

Cheers guys, Yes i will have a look at the facebook page.
I have always been a 4 stroke fan but i guess it is all about the money in the end, 3 cilinder would be better aswell. |
