Hi Cameron,

We still do not have a release date finalized. As has already been explained in a lot of other threads after completing tooling etc our manufacture realized that they could not manufacture our product as they had promised us they could. This has resulted in CRANKA management to have to re design some parts of this lure and re tool. We are getting closer now to being able to provide everybody with a final release date and also a final colour chart.

I can promise you that things are moving as Steve and myself have just returned from China where we had extensive meetings with our manufacture to finalize things and to try to get the production process moving. We sincerly thank everybody for their understanding of these issues and we promise to provide accurate information to everybody as soon as we have dates, colour charts etc in concrete.

At this point in time it is very important for CRANKA management to make sure that the quality of this product is 100% before releasing it to the public to ensure that you are all getting a product that meets the standard that people expect from all CRANKA products.

Thank you to everybody for your support of the CRANKA brand

Cheers
Coxy

Top stuff Coxy.. The hard work will pay off..

It cannot be easy work trying to explain to the manufacturer, just what you are trying to acheive via email, especially considering the language barrier..

Tasmanian and Mandarin are two totally different diolect...

So boys, seeing as you have had to redesign a few things, does this mean they will look slightly different in anyway?

Floating claws are laser cut foam now instead of the molded variety. Still look awesome in the flesh Dan.

Hi Dan,

The only difference that some may notice is the claws...as Justin has already pointed out they will be a laser cut foam now that will be shaped and bound to the hooks, as apposed to the moulded claws that they were origionally supposed to be. They still look sweet and do everything that they are designed to do.

We are going to be making up some prototypes for our Swan River Classic round this weekend and once they are completed we will take some photos which we will post up for all to see

Cheers

In field trials of the new claws to date ... we are yet to lose any of the new design claws.

These trials include fishing them hard for three straight days in a bream comp situation without a single lost or damaged claw... we are confident our customers will be very pleased with the final claw design.... of course if you do happen to damage or lose a claw at any stage in use it is simply a matter of fitting a new claw (spare legs and claws will be sold as an accessory pack) just as you would fit new hooks to any lure when they become blunt or damaged.

Cheers
