reel suggestions for a STZ701MLFSA please

hey guys,
just after suggestions for my new steez from those who own one or something similar. If I can get a few ideas next time I go to a store I can try them out on the rod.
I'm thinking maybe a certate2000... but it's hard to decide as I have to travel about 400k's to find this sort of upper end gear.

cheers
Chris

I have the same rod, and 2000 is a bit to small for it.
I have a 2506 certate on mine and it is a great match for it.

I would run a 2000 or a 2500 then you can put the rod through some hurt if you need to.
I have that rod and use either a airity 2000 or a Stella 2500
I love both on it

Steez reel for Steez rod seems fairly logical

Steez reel would be nice... but it's a bit much to come up $750, an extra $200 than the certate... especially when I could get an exist for $699.
As it was I planned on getting a Sol rod and probably a Sol reel but when I found the Steez rods for $209 and bought it I figured I'll match it with a similar echelon reel.
I have a 2500 Stella that I could put on it and try out to see how I like the size before making my decision, it's just a pain not having a store close by to take it in and feel a few reels on the rod.
certate 2500 is 245g which is the exact weight of my AR2500 stella so it should be a good reference

Thanks, and keep them coming

G'day guys. Saw these on the tw website too. Could anyone let me know what the shipping is for the rod? I would like to match one up with an old blue certate. Colour scheme might not look that great, but I reckon performance would be killer.
Cheers rooboy
