There is no difference in the camera just the mounting accessory that comes included
You can buy a surf mounting kit for around $30
In the new hero3 that has just come out im not sure they are doing the kits as previously done as there is 3 different models of camera coming out

Hope this helps

Hey Dan,

I've ordered the 2 x go pro black models, the new ones just released. My understanding is they have some benefits via extra frames for slow motion work and included wireless remote?

Anything else that sets them apart from the others?

Cheers
Dion.

Go the HD hero3 black edition.. I had the first camera that was released then sold it to go towards the 3 and it rips.. I was going to go the silver edition but for the $100 for the extras it's well worth it.

Hey Dion
The bottom line version is not that much different only a little smaller the black edition is a big step up from the hero 2 with low light being the thing most important to me. And the fact you can have an lcd and wireless remote working at the same time

Regards

Dan
