I think someone fishing on my boat has stepped on one of my steezes and didnt tell me. when I wined it is clearly bent. Has anyone ever had this repaired?

sounds like the shaft is bent and binding on a bearing or pinion when ossilating. replacing the shaft is an easy fix, thats unless other components are out of line as well.

Your probably correct. I dont pull reels apart of research them so I wouldnt know the components (I know I should )

I will send it to Daiwa and see if they can fix it.

Thanks

Cheers
Chris

The spools bend / dent

one bounced loose when i was removing line with another real. Bounced around the room a couple times and it's stuffed.

Check that the drag washers are fitting over the semi rectangular tube that the main shaft goes through. If your top drag washer isn't in line with the rest, it can sometimes stop the spool from fitting on the shaft properly.
