stradic ci4 2500,sustain fg 2500,Biomaster FB 2500 your choice?
I'm after a new 2500 mainly for throwing sp's for jew and big lizards but I'm unsure on what one to go.. I like the ci4 just for the fact that there so light but the sustain and the biomaster have the x-ship and a few other goodies added including the biomaster coming with a spare spool..
So what would you finesse bream gurus out there choose? |

I've got a 3000 biomaster that I use for jacks and it's going strong, very solid reel.

Have you considered the Rarenium? It weighs the same as the stradic & comes with a spare spool.

Never used a biomaster, but Sustain would be my pick

I have a 2500 Sustain that's a nice reel but am about to pick up a 2500 Rarenium to match with a recently purchased Daiwa Black Label.
The reel is nice and light and feels good as well. Another one that might be worth a look is the phlueger Patriach. Ray and Anne's store in Vic have 2000 Daiwa Luvias for about $270 |

I have the Ci4 1000 and the Biomaster 1000. I prefer the Biomaster. It's definitely a smoother reel under load. Overall it should be better than Ci4 given its a $100 more expensive. Note also it's a different ratio (5:1) to the Ci4 and the Sustain (both 6:1).
I can't really comment on the difference in feel between the 2500 size reels. I only have 1 reel that's a 2500 and I can't stand it. I think they're a pointless size (at least the 2500 Shimano's).

Cheers for the replies fellas
I've narrowed it down between the stradic ci4 and the sustain fg as the bio and rareium have a lower gearing to both the stradic and the sustain fg. I'm leaning more towards the sustain just for the x ship and isn't that much heavier then the ci4 also the reviews seem to say some of the ci4s have a bit of movement/bend in the body.. decisions decisions. |

if you go for the sustain make sure you feel a few of them.. I have felt a few and some of them feel like they have sand in them (Very Rough) but ive felt others that are really nice and smooth..
