Loomis for Sustain?

I've got my mind set on a Sustain 2500fg and really wanted a loomis to go with it but cant decide on the best match.Would be chasing flatties etc from the shore, would also like to be able to throw 1g heads around too for bream & Eps

Also want to keep it around the same price as the reel so 300ish,this possible?

Cheers,james.

You'll get the GLX new for mid 300's now well worth the extra $50 to $70.

I don't think that is the glx mate its the intermediate. Still a great rod, I have one as well as a glx and the glx is in another class
