Don't leave it for so long and try and cause a reaction strike from them, I pause it for like 3 seconds max..
I'll trade you for it feeney I love them.. |

i work mine with a few twitches followed by a short pause then continue the pattern, once you do notice a bream following, boiling or hitting the bent minnow start moving it to try and get a strike. sometimes they will not bother if its sitting still other times they will go crazy, just depends what mood they are in.

Hey,
They are awesome lures and catch heaps of fish, one other topwaer lure that is a standout up north is the the Dog x jnr. Not looking to highjack, just had a couple of great sessions last weekend with them early up in the bay. Either way keep at them with the bent minnow for the bream, will only get better as the water gets warmer Cheers,

Hey mate see if u ca walk the dog with it I've found that to be the best way throw in a few pauses as with most top waters and of they are on the chew they wil be all over it. There are occasions when u have to really slow down the retrieve and be really erratic in order to get the to bite, but most of the time walking the dog works if u get the hang of it the lure gives this cool little jump out of the water looks awesome.
Hope that helps mate. Good luck look forward to to the pics.

at the end of last summer, I had plenty of slap/whacks where the lure gets thrown back to shore, but cant get the bream to actually eat it...
(every other species inhales it )im gonna keep giving it a go, the water will heat up a bit more soon and will be fire |
