MX Ajing AGS

Was just taking a gander on the daiwa website when I came across these rods. They weigh in at a mere 70g!!! They look as if they would be an amazing ultra light rod for chasing fish on the flats, particularly the 7'3" model. Anyone have any idea what the price tag is going to be?

I reckon that is seriously light for a rod over seven foot long.

Looks good. Personally I don't like that reel seat style. Love the Tournament model though! Gee these AGS guides are sexy looking!!!!!

Yeah the reel seat is starting to grow on me. Not so much the look rather the idea of minimalism.

Had a play with this ajing AGS rod as well as the tournament AGS tonight. Two words: Friggin Unreal! If you have the money treat yourself, you will be hard pressed to find better, full stop. I also played with the new Black rods, best value for money at under $160. Heaps of bream sticks, I ordered the 6'4 Pinster for in close at pontoons. I also played with the steez, luvias and Sol. Steez looks great up close, Sol isn't bad, especially in the larger sizes. My pick is the Luvias, looks good, feels great and made in Japan, with that comes a price increase which may sway some fishos towards the Sol.
