Mister Twister Twin Tails
I still throw them often and have quite good results with them.
Anyone else still use these "retro" plastics?

Too many placcys and hards go out of production after a while- sales drop off when they aren't the flavour of the month any more! Good to see Mr Twisters still kicking it

I came across a well known fisho yesterday who had the green glitter rigged up, made a joke about the pricy lures on the markets. We both had a laugh, but I still have room in my tackle box for the new crankas!
The mr twister is the best go to lure for kids & flatties!

I bought a few packs when they were cheap at Kmart.
Intend on using them on flatties on the flats. |

God I remember buying 3 in a pack for 50C back in the day at the local bait n tackle shop... The hooks were crude and the hook eye was always painted over and would be the first thing to rust on them due to scraping the paint off...
I still have a multitude of them in my tackle box full of retro plastics. Safely away that they'll be admired and never used again. |

I regularly use the single tails Chartereuse with silver flake. 20 in a pack off ebay for real cheap, their quality is better than most i have used, they are very soft but firm and do not brake up easily. The main benefit is the twist in the tails. This means it doesnt matter which way you rig them they flutter and also work on the slightest movement.
