stradic fj oil tube

just bought an fj stradic from mo, there was no oil tube in the box - when I queried it, they said shimano have discontinued this - can anyone else confirm?

The last time I bought a shimano reel it was in a plastic bag (inside the box) whereas this one wasn't - I'm thinking I've been given display stock or a returned reel????

Yeh the oil tube came in the plastic snap baggie with the washers for profiling the spool line lay...

Mo's been here and there with honesty when I was there last time back in 2011...

I'd go straight to the horses head and ask Shimano for the bottle, however a bottle of Inox or Protecta would be better to be honest...

i bought a sustain from my local tackle store and it came with no reel oil either.
i just bought some yesterday from another local tackle store.

I bought a 1000 FJ not too long ago. I'll check when i get home but i don't recall seeing some in the box...
