Thanks.

I don't know but i'd say you probably could, the only thing is the Aqua's have their own distinct vegemite flavour so the Gulp juice could do strange things to it.

I still havn't tried the aqua prawns yet. Been meaning to use up all my gulp first.

Might give them a run over summer.

Get into them mate! They certainly have worked well for me. I've got some of the new 2'' BugAnts coming and I am pretty keen to give them a run!

They also smell like Honey soy BBQ chips which is better then that nasty GULP! Seriously, go smell them and tell me i'm a liar
I've got all mine stored together in a waterproof container with water, they still look exactly the same and the water has now converted to what I would call "ecogear aqua juice" they have slight SLIGHTLY got a tad bigger.

It tastes sweet.

Done a bit of research into gulp aqua etc and have come to replicating the formula.

Its made up of starches and other things.

Sugar is another form of a carbohydrate along with starches. All are broken down in the body and become glucose.

Starches are polysaccharids, which means strings of sugar

Things get tricky though when water interacts with starches. and water is what we fish in.

Retrogradiation is the term that explains why gulp dries out

Heres a link that explains the reaction and why it dries out. flick through the pages
http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/play-doh2.htm

If you could keep plain water cold, im pretty sure you could just use water to stop gulp ect breaking down. Its when it get warm it begins breaking it down.

I had success with my creations by adding sugar to the water to stop it breaking down.

So in conclusion.
I belive Gulp is made up of complex carbohydrates. We all know carbohydrates are food............so...........food is bait..........gulp is bait

Just a question to the guys putting their plastics in water.
If the water takes on the form of gulp or aqua juice after a while, doesn't that mean the lures scent is just leaching out into the water?
Seems to me the whole idea is to keep the scent in the lure not the liquid they're sitting in.

They do smell like vegimite eh , which is strange given there a starch/carbohydrate of sort -- which is sugar , and vegemite is primarily .. protein & yeast !

btw they are on special $10.95 at mylureshop.com
