Anyone tried this cheap egi rod out.

Came across this cheap egi rod and was thinking of buying one to use on the yak.
Any one have one and what do you think if you do.
I mainly use 2.5 jigs.

Theres cheap price and then there is cheap quality. This is a step below a handline. Forever seeing problems with ebay rods.

Tried a Saratoga brand rod a while back, was disappointed with the finish to say the least.. Maybe I just tried a bad example
On the other hand and for similar price is this one:

I use a berkeley egi. Very parabolic action and is also good for trolling lures for lake trout.

Any idea where I can get one, I rang around but no one had then.

A mate has one and it's a nice rod but a bit to good for the kayak.
