Fish in Tanks!

hey guys, im not sure if there has been a thread on this before but im curious to know if many members of this site enjoy having fish in tanks, im more interested in fish like Australian Natives, like barra, bass, Murray Cod, jacks, saratoga, yello belly and so on.
I currently have a bass and a barra, although my barra is being looked after by my friend (daiwarockz) as I havent set up my new 4ft tank yet. unfortunately I am not sure how to post pics up on my new computer but I would love it if anyone has any pics to show of their fish and maybe their tank set up.

thanks

Here are my two barra, they get along nicely with each other, a salmon tail catfish and a blue claw cray that destroys any plant you put in there

i have an australian bass in my tank. its probably about 6 months old now. he gets fed frozen bloodworms and just about anything i can find in the backyard that it would eat in the wild. e.g crickets and bugs. by the way, does anyone know how to tell if its male or female at this age? cheers

Just saying... there is no nutritional value to bloodworms should be more a treat then a routine menu.

Yeah thats cool. What do u recommend nugget? And jean Its about 12-13cm long now. Still fed him food he'd eat in the wild. To start with he was abit reluctant to eat off this surface so I'd crush the bugs up and let them sink until he'd eat from the top water. Now il be asleep and wake up in the middle of the night and il hear splashes and kisses on the surface

You can get small tubs of crickets from local pet shops. otherwise small garden worms soaked in water. I try and avoid man made products for feeding natural is better in my eyes. but for my feeding I have my own worm farms, cricket, woodies etc so I know there is no chemicals.

thanks, at the moment i feed him pellets as he wont eat a feeder. i will look through the garden this afternoon and try and find a worm.

do they eat it whole or will they break it up and only eat little pieces from it? I had no problems with my barra, it ate feeders that were nearly the size of it
