Night Time Fishing

Hello,

my mum is gonig to New Zealand in a week, so i have 2 weeks of freedom to be able to fish at night time. ( she worrys too much if i night fish)

Now, i want to know, is it better to use Fresh Bait at night time, or is it better to use Softplastics?

Ive got some glow beads also, are they worth using?

Can you please give me all the tips i need to know for night time fishing including the rigs etc, cause im a begginer

Im going to be fishing on shore, either at Botany Bay or Parramatta.

Thanks

Hi Chopper,
Mate soft plastics at night is really great but there a few things you have to look for that will help you catch those fish.
First i have always found that if im fishing of a night i look for somewhere were there is light, like rowing sheds, bridges and even some whafts.I also tend to put more sent on my softplastics as well. Hope this helps, and good luck.
Before i forget there are some bass about not far away from where you live and ive even managed some esturay and silver perch.Might save you a long drive.

Sylvania waters is also worth a shot at night, seen some solid fish pulled from there - grab a street directory and look for the points where you can access from road. Flik some SP's at some of the moorings/jettys
