Hi guys

The Hero HD2 is a massive step up from the Hero HD.
There have been some significant changes to the sensor in side the unit to give it the awesome 11mp stills as well as twice the clarity it used to have on video.

there is also options to change how wide the lens is, in full HD you can choose 180,127 or 90 degree view.

It also has 48 frames per second in 960p for getting better slow motion video.

And for really slow motion you can opt for VGA quality and get 128 frames per second.

To get the most out of your HD2 camera it is imperative that you use the highest quality cards in class 10 (this is the speed in can write to the card)

Any questions please feel free to post them here and I will answer them for you.

And its great to have Adam stocking the GoPro Hero 2.

Regards
Dan

Make sure you all buy spare batteries and 32g cards as the 8g and package battery will only record about an hour and if left on stand by they run the batteries down, I have 3 of the new Hero 2's and love em to death but the small things just DohDohDohDoh me a bit. Also if any one is considering doing any underwater stuff the flat lens mount is a must get along with the shallow water filter, other wise the round lens will have trouble focusing under water.

Hey Paul
Glad you like the new Gopro Hero 2.
You are dead right about the dome lens having issues at times with underwater video
And because of this Gopro have been working on a new housing that will much better then the after market ones
It will be available in January at some stage.
I will have one soon for testing and will put some footage up when tested.

Regards

Dan Clifton

Dan do the batteries out of the old Hero fit the new Hero II? Looking at the Hero II and have a few batteries from the older model.

Cheers Steve

Hey TNAM

You should get about 2-3 hours on the 32g card.
And yes the Battery Bak Pak will fit and is a great addition to the Gopro camera for taking video of fishing as there can be many cast between the action.

Im sure you will love it

Regards

Dan
