Ok this is on this weekend and is sure to be a sensational day on the water and or a great meal, for anyone at a loose end for something to do on Sunday get some family or friends together and be a part of a great day for a great cause.

If you would like to be in on the Samson Jigging get in fast as there are limited places, a few left though but you will need to get hold of Al ASAP or at least send him a text message by Mid day 24/11/11.

Fishing Fundraiser Nov 27

The recreational fishing community is banding together to help fight cancer.
On Sunday, November 27, the inaugural Fishing Fundraising Day for cancer research will be held and it involves on and off water action.

The day kicks off at first light, with a special charter day being held off Perth, and 20 spots available on the boats – Shikari, Saltwater Charters and Dreamcat WA.

There will be prizes given out on the day, and included in the cost of $350 is attendance at a special fundraising function and dinner that evening.
All the boats will be fishing together during the day, so there should be plenty of good humour as well as some fantastic angling action on the sambos.

Later that evening, Terrazza Cafe in Applecross will host the function and dinner, with keen fisherman and former Channel 9 personality Mike Thomson the master of ceremonies. Where: Terrazza Cafe, 767 Canning Highway, Applecross

With plenty of Perth’s leading fishing personalities in attendance, there will be many fishing tales tall and true told during the evening.
There will be raffles and auctions during the evening.

So it is $65-00 just for the dinner where there will be auctions of plenty of fishy gear and not so fishy as well as a raffle.

Terazza is a fantastic restaurant and should be fine food put on for the event, not to mention the entertainment.

For the jigging and dinner all inclusive it is $350-00, go fishing and take the other half out to dinner as well, win win right there.
