The end is near!!!!!
Hi,
Just made my first order for the online store. Got 3 packs of atomic 2inch grubs, a pack of 2 inch shads and a coupla packs of 1.5" sliders aswell as some jig heads. How long is it likly to take for them to arrive all the way down here in Tassie????? Have two an exam on thursday and friday then i'm on holidays!!!!!!!!! The a week later i head down the coast for two weeks with a couple of mates to fish to i can't fish no more. Hope to land a few bream on lures. Haven't tried before but have been reading lots of forums so hopefully i have a bit of a head start. Can't wait till friday arvo when i can finally relax. p.s any tips for east coast (tasmania) bream on lures would be great. eddystone Last edited by eddystone; 18-11-2003 at 05:07 AM. |

Hi Geoff ,
Thanks alot. So long as they arrive before Monday week (i'm sure they will). It is real hard to get good sp's down here unless you want squidgies. They just don't have them. I saved $3 by buying the atomic shads through your online store alone!!!! As for the sliders i have never seen them down here. Bream spinning just doesn't seem to exist even though we are spose to have some absolutely awesome bream fishing. The only place i could get a decent range of sp's is through a certain store ( a fishing franchise that i won't name Got@#@) and to me they are way over priced. They repackage atomics and sell them for more. Thanks for providing a great service and i hope to make more orders in the future. eddystone |

Eddy,
How far down the coast are you going? I imagine you'll be heading for Ansons, Scamander, Swan etc. If you wanted to head further down (like Hobart) I'm sure you'd get some in the Jordan and Browns Rv at this time of year. Don't be embarassed to use bait to locate fish on unfamiliar rivers either. Once you know they're around you can then fish your lures with confidence. Good luck. Cheers, Rigzz |

Hi Rigzz,
Have only ever fished ansons really for bream. My mate has a water front shack there so i'm really lucky. Will be spending about 10 days there at in early December. Another quick question. Should i cast directly at snags or is this likely to spook fish??? or should i cast along the shore(Boat access only). Below is a picture of what i have to wake up to every morning at anson's!!!!!!!!!! eddystone Last edited by eddystone; 18-11-2003 at 06:56 PM. |

casting
depends on their mood. if they are in heavey cover they wont spook too easy. when i fish mangroves i cast right in them, if bream are there im usually done right away. water clarity might play a part too, clear water means u can see them and they u.
but what id be tempted to do is cast along the snags, using several approaches/angles and then a few directly in the mass of twigs and branches. im no champion but good luck

Eddy,
I'll second the 'lucky bastard' post. I'd give my right arm for 2 weeks at Ansons! Regarding casting into, or across the front of, snags, just plat it by feel. Both can be successful but, where possible, I like to cast as far back into snags as I can. They are often right up the back, adjacent to the shore. Incidentally, don't forget to take some HBs. Tassie blacks love lures like Attacks, Micro Mullets and Rebel Teeny Wee Craws. In some parts of Ansons I think they might be more effective than SPs. Cheers, Rigzz |

Hi Chris,
It wasn't all that hard to make. I got the idea from the NBA logo as you may have already figured out. eddystone |
