I have a 2000 Caldia Kix in pretty good condition, very minor scuffs and bumps from boat use but no major damage, always carefully washed and lightly Inox'd externally after use. It is my spare reel so doesnt see too much use. What sort of $$ are you looking at spending, PM if you wish.

Nicko - you should've said something If you're after second hand reels. I got nuthin But

But your search is too narrow.

"Shakespeare Sigma Whisker Titan" wont mean much to those who dont understand the advantages of a full graphite body and ceramic spool lip. They dont make em like they yoose to* - the reason......... - limp wristed, noodle armed, choir boys

"Daiwa Capricorn" - Whats your star sign? - who cares? - the seventh moon of Pluto may be rising in Uranus but that dont effect me none - I bought em coz they out last the fancy stuff.

"SHimmi Stradic" - they worked back then - and they're still getting it done.

Let us know which one you want to round out the stable

*(all 3 reels may be as rooted mechanically - as they appear aesthetically)

p.s. - the "rabbits foot" expressed an interest in "Whacking some Snaps" - add that - to your new reels - and thats about as powerful as it gets.

Let me know when there's room for those 2 omens - in the one place

Hahaha... Just this time around i may have to pass on those reels...

Only for the fact that even money cant buy such classic reels and well seasoned weapons... Reels like that should be straight to pool room, and not latched on a carbon fibre wand, hoping to be "run to paradise"

As for the snaps session with the "rabbits foot" im in but will have to work on a weekend.. This ones out, as i am about to start some serious rennovation works, and have a 12meter bin out the front calling me as we speak... If you feel like breaking something call around.... Plenty to be smashed up and gobbled by the bin

.... On second thoughts how much did you want for the Shakepeare titan whisker...? And does it come spooled with barb wire or whipper snipper cord?

Filling that 12m bin sounds like hard work - and I bloody love hard work - I could sit and watch it for hours

The Titan comes spooled with the finest monofilament $2 could buy (20 years ago)
