Reel to match Millerods brawler

Hi guys

Recently picked up a millerod brawler 6'9" and was curious as to which reel you guys have strapped on it as our tackle shop locally doesn't have many reels to test out on the rod.

Answers will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Todd

I had a airity on mine felt beautiful. I think if you can get your hands on a Stella 1000fd it would suit it perfectly. But that is just my opinion.

I have an old school Luvias 2000 loaded with 4lb Fireline on mine and love it.

Cheers,
Simon

Any of the Shimano reels either 1000 or 2500 that weigh between 175g and 230g will balance up fine.

Exist 2508 so you can push some bigger drag threw it as it's a brawler not a finesse set up.
