Rod to match Curado E51

Just ordered in a curado E51 and needing a rod.
Gonna be used for cranks and jerkbaits, so looking for a rather fast tapered rod. Yet, sensitive enough for picking up vibrations when slow rolling.
In a 2-4 or 3-5 kg class.
Keen on the quality basic builds like rods as in G.Loomis, Live Fibre and Gary Howard.
But willingly to take other opinions aboard.
Price range is around $300, Do not want to do an O/S purchase.

Thanks.

I have a E51 on a 6'3" 6-12lb samaki zecton. I wanted a rod that I wouldn't get upset about breaking but I am starting to like it. It's no HLZ but it does everything really well and I would have no problems casting a Khamsin jr around. My only dislike about this rod is that there is too much epoxy on it.

I think they retail at $300.

@ Powerbeam; Not keen on Samaki after owning my vamp. The components and binding were poor for the price. The binding on the 3rd guide started to peel off after a month or 2 of owning it. 3 bits of the handle trim has fallen off. Butt cap of the rod is loose, and a week ago the handle unscrewed itself from the holster were your reel is tightened. had to use a chisel to remove it of so I could take of the reel...
I doubt that this was merely a shoddy model with so many things going wrong with it. Despite the blank, I honestly wouldn't get another Samaki.

@ Smoking Drags; not in the market for the rod until a couple of weeks. I might be interested, I'll get back to ya.

Thanks.

Hey mate, I've got a curado e50 matched to a loomis designed temple fork outfitters 3-6kg 7' rod. Great combo and the rod retails around $170-$180. Might be worth a look for you.
