Madeye lures Latest design

Well after months and months of delays it seems my new molds are finally ready. This guy was drawn up late last year but has taken this long to get from original design to finished product.

The pic you see is one of the last drawings before being sent off so the actual design has a couple of slight changes.

Design process.

I always wanted to make a grub but with so many grubs already on the market i wanted to come up with something different. In my opinion the eyeball tail and the gulp sandworm (cough...bait..cough)are the 2 best plastics ever made for bream.
So i basically used their defining features as inspiration and combined into something new. I added this with a grub tail to make what i feel will be the most versatile plastic to hit the market in a while.

The tail tapers ALOT thinner than the madeye bream worm which gives the new lure a totally different action. Unlike most grubs that hold a stiff shape where the grub tail does all the fluttering, this new lures whole rear section bends and sways giving it a real fleeing bait fish appeal.
The idea is that you keep the grub tail on when fishing deeper structure but you can cut off the curl tail and fish it as a sand worm imitation on the flats. Also if the curl tail gets bitten off the lure still has plenty of appeal that will still catch fish

While it may look similar to other baits on the market (this wasn’t intended but im sure no-one will believe me) I promise that the action is completely different.

Hopefully will be available by the end of July

It will work for sure but you need the tail to flutter gently on the drop or retrieve,If it casts well "most don't" then you have a winner.
cheers nereus

Interesting idea.... if the tail gets chomped off you can still use it as a work... not bad.

Never heard of these Madeye lures before. Might have to pick up some packs and give em a try
