Should be a good combo for the price mate, i'd put straight through fluoro on one spool (Sunline FC Sniper is good) anywhere from 2-4lb you should be right, for flats that is. On the other spool, i would have anywhere from 6-10lb braid for racks fishing, braid depends on how much you want to spend.

3lb crystal, 6lb super PE and 3 or 4lb sniper. Can't go wrong.

the pfluger has a really soft tip
my other rod option could be the 1-4 kg mexican raider any thoughts

Your right about that, It'll suit throwing crankbaits around perfectly, if you intend to throw alot of plastics around however, the raider would probably be more suited.

If you not after such as soft tip then go upto the 2-4kg. I would rather a trion over a raider, i dont like the butt on the raiders.... way to short for me.

my new weapon is a tcurve 662xl with a stradic ci4
Awesome combo the casting is effortless and the fighting
Feedback makes even small fish entertaining
