Reel for a Nitro Power Bream Finesse

Hey guys I'm looking at buying a reel for my nitro power bream finesse 7' 1 - 3kg.

Probably looking at a Daiwa 2004 but open to other suggestions.

Cheers,
Michael.

Fisho probably around the $300 mark.

Yeah, certate would probably be my desired option but i think I'll be priced out of that one.. have been thinking a 2004 Bradia.

Would love to hear what other Nitro Power Bream users have got paired up?

i've got a Shimano Sephia (JDM version of the fireblood) on mine, balances very well!

Just checked apparently the 2500 Sephia comes in at 213g.

Which makes sense as my 2500 Stradic ci4 felt pretty good on it too.

I've narrowed it down to the silver version of the luvius 2004 and the 2004 Gekka Bijin.

i had a silver luvius 1003 on mine. loved it, perfect for my usage. the 2004 is probably the better option though from a neutral balance point of view.

Yeah im prob leaning towards the luvi. Used the rod today with the ci4 and they do match up quite nicely.

Haha Jewels those Gekka Bijins look great just a little pricey. Bloody light though.

Fin,
not a big fan of the Sols.
Especially the queer colour scheme!

If i was gona go down the sol route, I'd grab a 2004 Caldia

Gekka's colour scheme - is there such a thing?

Actually, I was going to suggest a SOL as well...

I'm not so much thinking abut the scheme but they a also a slightly heavier reel and with the nitro's being tip heavy it feels very nice. The other great thing about the sols is their longevity. They take a battering and just keep on spinning. But it's up to you.... personally they are a far better reel then the Luvias.
Have a look at the Twinpowers however.
Good luck man

I'm actually surprised I got in first, Alex
IMO still one of if not the best reel (for the money at least)

The Sol 2500 matches perfectly IMO.

The rod is a little tip heavy with the Luvi 2000 I originally had on mine a while back.

Trust me, balance is a must when using a rod all day.

- And well worth the hassle testing out different reels to see which one balances good for you.
