Gold Squidgy Wrigglers..... GONE?!

hey guys,

i have been having trouble finding this colour (24 carrat) squidgy wriggler for quite some time now. It has been my go-to plastic for bream. caught more on this plastic than any other colour. but my suspicions were confirmed this morning at Compleat Angler that they are actually discontinued now epic emo moment! lol now the search for an alternative is on the rise. does anyone know, 1. What alternatives are there in a shiny/gold wriggler/grub? 2. know of anyone who may still have stock of these Squidgy Wrigglers - 24 carrat?

cheers,

Justin

Check out DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh - they used to have plenty of the old squidgy wrigglers going out at about $2 a packet. Haven't checked there for a while tho, no harm in the looking!

convert to bloodworm, or if you wanna stay with the colour theme gary glitter is another good option.

But seriously, bloodworm 100mm wrigglers = killer plastic all round

yeah mate, Bloodworm is one of my other favourite colours. and they'd be stupid to discontinue that one. unfortunatly, just personally,i have caught more bream on the gold ones. in the small sized. like 65mm or so. shattered i can't find them. i checked DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh and couldn't find any. i think i may have to find a new gold plastic. and i read somewhere that the Golden Eye is also being phased out. I checked the squidgy website and its not listed on their colour-bank anymore.... not good.

Cheers,
True, I got mine from mo last time. But those little one are not quite easy matching with a small enough jighead. I only use it with normal hook and rig it "dropshot".
