Weight goes with whatever your comfortable with and the situation. I suggest Sunline V-Hard or Rock. 4lb or lower on the flats, 6lb is a good medium and 8lb if particularly snaggy territory.

10lb should cover pretty much anything you would use a light set-up for.

Strong enough for your bigger fish, E.g; Trevally, Flathead etc.

Yet, thin enough (0.6) to not frighten Bream or Whiting.

Multi-task is an awesome thing.

buy heaps of different kinds, from 3lb to about 12lb. that'll cover u for any larger type fish you'll run into, plus you'll have a range of leaders to cover a diverse spectrum of fishing environment, from flats to racks, etc

cheers

I run sunline castaway 10lb on my sol 2000 and I mainly use sunline FC rock in 6lb its an awsome leader and at $20 for 100m its one of the best and cheapest. Or if your ok with spending more go sunline V-hard its the best leader sunline makes and its got a thinner diameter than the rock.

I think the 6lb V-hard is nearly equel in diametre to the 4lb rock FC
