Only had it happen on a cheaper Sienna. Heard a lot of reports about there clickers breaking. Maybe your mate got Stradic and Sienna mixed up cause i haven't heard of a Stradics clicker going ?

Oh FI or CI4 Stradic ?

I have 3 Stradic reels 1000, 2500 & 4000 and haven't had a single problem with them. They are a top reel for their price, you should be able to land one for around the $200 mark at this time of year.

I have 8 stradics in sizes from 1000 to 4000. The oldest being about 6 years old. They get flogged. Never had a clicker go. Never had a problem with them. Bullet proof reels. I love the 6:1 gear ratio.....

I got a 1000 size stradic and have no issues with it except for some wind knots...
