Bass Baitcast

Hey guys
Im getting a new set up for bass this season. The reel is gunna be a Viento, and the rod...well Im still deciding what I should get? I've been looking at the t-curve t-series and the lightest baitcast I can find is 6-8kg? which is far too heavy. Im looking the spend #2-300 (more if its worth it) on something in the 2-4kg or 2-5kg range and mainly for flicking small hard bodies in creeks.
cheers

Heath

heath,if ur going to use it locally for bass then may i suggest one of the lighter 1-3kg samurai rods. perfect for talle and currumbin cks. viento is a good choice(love the twitching bar for bass).

id be spending your coin on a shimano citica, jap made and much much nicer/stronger/more reliable reel than the viento, never seen a viento that hasnt broken, the twitch bar is a rather stupid idea, just use the rod?
